"Take Me With You"
Happy New Year!

Thank you for visiting my website. I am an artist specializing in watercolors. My work includes canine portraits and other original paintings. I enjoy capturing the expressions and spirit of my client’s pets and children in watercolor.

For all your support in 2007, I thank you! I am looking forward to tackling some new projects in 2008.

What's New!

"Yellow Lab, Blue Wake"

I created this special piece for the
Labrador Life Line's Heart Dog Auction February 14- March 1, 2008
Thank you to all the eager bidders!
The painting raised well over $400 for Labrador Life Line!
Congratulations Joe Maringo!

In addition to my traditional watercolors that I have been creating this past year using watercolor in transparent layers and Aquarelle pencil to build up to an almost opaque painting, I am now incorporating Casein paint in combination in many of my paintings and portraits. Casein is a milk based, water soluble medium that can be used in light transparent washes or applied in thicker opaque techniques that resemble an oil painting or acrylics. When complete, the painting can be buffed to a low sheen or a varnish can be applied. I love this medium! It can be applied to paper, board or canvas.

A selection of my prints and notecards are available for purchase at
Becky's Frame Studio in Bedford, NH.

Labrador Life Line's Labor of Love Auction September 2007

These two original framed paintings shown above of Labrador Retrievers were donated to the Labrador Life Line Labor of Love Auction in early September.
I participated and donated artwork for the first time in the Spring 2007 LLL Labrador Life Line Auction. My paintings were quite successful in raising funds for the cause, so I was excited to participate once again.
